Abstract:
This control device controls a rotating electric machine that comprises a rotor having a magnet part and a stator having a slotless structure with a stator winding. The control device comprises a temperature estimation unit (S10, S20), an overcurrent determination unit (S30, S40, S50), and a control unit (S60, S70). The temperature estimation unit acquires temperature information at least including the temperature of the stator winding and estimates the temperature of the magnet part on the basis of the temperature information. The overcurrent determination unit sets an overcurrent threshold for the current flowing through the stator winding according to the estimated temperature of the magnet part, acquires the current flowing through the stator winding, and determines whether the current flowing through the stator winding is excessive current on the basis of the set overcurrent threshold. The control unit controls the rotating electric machine on the basis of the result of the determination by the overcurrent determination unit.
