Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a control device that is for a saddle-type vehicle and that can execute smooth starts while helping to stabilize the saddle-type vehicle during starts on inclines or the like and while preventing an operator from feeling jolted. The present invention is a control device for a saddle-type vehicle, the control device being provided with: a brake-pressure acquisition unit that is configured to obtain a pre-stop brake pressure when a saddle-type vehicle is stopped by braking; a stop-time brake-pressure setting unit that is configured to set, on the basis of at least the pre-stop brake pressure obtained by the brake-pressure acquisition unit, a brake pressure for stopping the saddle-type vehicle; and a brake control unit that, for situations in which an operator is not executing a brake operation, is configured to activate a brake device of the saddle-type vehicle on the basis of the brake pressure set by the stop-time brake-pressure setting unit.
