Abstract:
A control device for a supercharger with an electric motor, capable of effectively compensating an output even when the atmospheric pressure drops. The control device has a supercharger (20) provided in a suction path (5) of an internal combustion engine (1) mounted on a vehicle and driven by an electric motor (20a), control means (16, 21) for controlling the electric motor (20a) to regulate a supercharging pressure, and barometric pressure detection means (30) for detecting the state of the atmospheric pressure. When the atmospheric pressure measured by the barometric pressure detection means (30) is lower than a predetermined value, the control means (16, 21) increases a drive force of an electric motor (20a) to a level where the atmospheric pressure is equal to or greater than a predetermined value.
