Abstract:
A control device (200) for a variable-gauge train comprises: an inverter (2) that collectively controls the torque of main electric motors (104a-104d); and a voltage control unit (3) that controls the output voltage of the inverter (2). When at least one axle among the axles driven by the main electric motors (104a-104d) is within a variable-gauge section, and at least one axle is outside the variable-gauge section, the voltage control unit (3) defines, as a reference frequency fn, a value obtained by converting the average value of the rotation frequency of the axles, among the plurality of axles, that are outside the variable-gauge section, to the electric angle frequency of the main electric motors (104a-104d), and adds a slip frequency command fs to the reference frequency fn to obtain the frequency of the output voltage of the inverter (2).
