Abstract:
In a vehicle provided with an idling stop function, an engine is prevented from remaining in drive during idling, and a response in the transfer of a driving force when the engine is restarted is improved. Disclosed is a control device for controlling a vehicle drive device provided with an input member coupled to an engine; an output member coupled to wheels; and a transmission device wherein the engagement and release of a plurality of engagement elements are controlled to shift a plurality of transmission gears, so that the rotary drive force of the input member is transmitted to the output member while the rotation speed is changed at a transmission gear ratio in each transmission gear. The transmission device is provided with, as one of the transmission gears, a one-way transmission gear which transmits the rotary drive force from the input member to the output member, but does not transmit the rotary drive force from the output member to the input member, and is provided with a control means for controlling the transmission device to realize a one-way transmission during idling.
