Abstract:
Provided is a control device for a vehicle drive device, with which it is possible to suppress shock caused by engine startup during motor travel in a vehicle having a direct injection engine and an electric motor. When an engine (direct injection engine) (12) is started during motor travel, an electronic control device (58) causes an engine disengagement clutch (K0) to slip, and starts the engine (12) by means of ignition startup. When the engine torque (Te) passes through an initial negative torque extreme value (PTx) after startup of the engine (12) and moves from negative torque to zero, the engine disengagement clutch (K0) is released. Thus, from the torque variation which is based on the workings of the engine (12), it is possible to release the engine disengagement clutch (K0) earlier than with a determination on the basis of the engine rotational torque (Ne), while ensuring the reliably of engine startup. Consequently, it is possible to suppress shock caused by engine startup.
