Abstract:
A control device capable of downsizing a differential mechanism that makes a differential action operational or/and improving fuel efficiency, as well as improving the power generation efficiency of a power generating power supply. The control device provides both advantages, that is, the fuel efficiency improving effect of a transmission in which a speed change ratio is electrically changed, and the high transmission efficiency of a gear-type transmission device which mechanically transmits power, because a switching clutch C0 or a switching brake B0 is provided to allow a transmission mechanism (10) to be switched between a non-stage speed change state and a staged speed change state. Since switching control means (50) sets a differential unit (11) in a non-stage speed change state during a 4-WD traveling in which a second drive wheel (39) is driven by a third motor M3, a first motor M1 as a power generating power supply to function as a power supply due to power generation by an engine (8) output is controlled, unlike in a case where the differential unit (11) is set in a staged speed change state to allow a vehicle speed V to restrict a first motor rotation speed NM1 and an engine rotation speed NE, to a good-generation-efficiency rotation speed by the differential action of the differential unit (11).
