Abstract:
A control device for a vehicle with a stepless speed changer which can provide sufficient feeling of acceleration for acceleration operation by a driver. When an acceleration request is determined by an accelerator operation determination means (86), a control means (90) sets a target drive power (POWER) that is greater than target drive power in a normal state calculated in normal operation of an accelerator pedal (71). The control means also sets a target rotation speed (NINLINE) for acceleration, in which the target rotation speed (NINLINE) is higher than a target rotation speed in a normal state calculated in the normal operation and is increased at a predetermined slope (β) relative to an increase in a vehicle speed. The control means then controls a speed change ratio (&gammad ) of a stepless speed changer (18) and output torque of an engine (12) so that the set target drive power (POWER) is achieved and that an input shaft rotation speed (NIN) of the stepless speed changer (18) is the set target rotation speed (NINLINE) for acceleration. As a result, when the driver requests acceleration, target drive power is increased and also output rotation speed of a power source is increased, so that sufficiently high feeling of acceleration can be obtained from the vehicle.
