Abstract:
Provided is a control device for a vehicle, said device making it possible to suppress a worsening in brake feeling and switch appropriately between operation modes in accordance with circumstances. This control device for a vehicle, said control device comprising a first operation mode for driving at a driving fluid pressure and a second mode for mechanically transmitting a braking operation by a driver to a master piston, is provided with: an operation determination unit that determines whether or not an operation amount in an increase stroke is at or above a prescribed threshold or whether or not the increase speed of the operation amount in the increase stroke is at or above a prescribed threshold speed; and a control unit that, until a first timing at which the operation determination unit determines that the operation amount is at or above the prescribed threshold or until a second timing at which the operation determination unit determines that the increase speed is at or above a prescribed threshold speed, selects the first operation mode and, in an increase stroke from the first timing onwards or from the second timing onwards, selects the second operation mode and maintains the driving fluid pressure therein.
