Abstract:
A control device for a vehicular lamp according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a reception unit 102 for receiving an output value from a tilt sensor capable of deriving a total angle which includes the road surface angle and the vehicle attitude angle; and a control unit 104 for holding a road surface angle reference value and a vehicle attitude angle reference value, adjusting the optical axis angle of the vehicular lamp and updating the vehicle attitude angle reference value in response to a change in the total angle during vehicle stoppage, and maintaining the optical axis angle and updating the road surface angle reference value in response to a change in the total angle during vehicle movement. The control unit 104 has an abnormality detection unit 1045. The control unit 104 fixes the optical axis angle to a predetermined angle when an abnormal state of the control device is detected, and then the control device 104 estimates the current vehicle attitude angle after the control device returns from the abnormality state, and generates an adjustment signal on the basis of the output value from the tilt sensor 110 obtained during vehicle movement, or receives a signal indicating the current vehicle attitude angle from an external device and generates an adjustment signal.
