Abstract:

Disclosed is a control device whereby the time it takes to rewrite a control program is reduced and control is possible even during the rewrite process. The disclosed control device is provided with volatile SDRAM (330) and nonvolatile flash memory (340) that is electrically rewritable and that stores an initial processing program (341) and a control program (342). The initial processing program (341) transfers the control program (342) from the flash memory (340) to the SDRAM (330), and a vending machine is controlled via execution of the control program (342) in the SDRAM (330). The process in which the flash memory (340) is written to is run in parallel with the control process.
