Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve the accuracy of excess temperature protection of an electric motor (1). A control device (7) controls an inverter main circuit (2) for driving the electric motor (1). A power conversion circuit control unit (4) obtains a DC voltage value input to the inverter main circuit (2), an output voltage value of the inverter main circuit (2), a motor current value flowing through the electric motor (1), and a motor frequency indicating the rotational speed of the electric motor (1). Based on at least one of the DC voltage value, the output voltage value, the motor current value, and the motor frequency, a motor loss estimation unit (5) calculates a stator loss and a rotor loss each including fundamental and harmonic losses of the electric motor (1). Based on an output voltage value of the inverter, the stator loss, and the rotor loss, the power conversion circuit control unit (4) outputs an actual control value for controlling the inverter main circuit (2).
