Abstract:
The present invention provides a control device that is connected to a device (20) for detecting a hand motion of a user and that controls an action of a virtual character. The control device determines, according to the result of the detection of a hand motion of the user by the device (20), whether the detected hand motion of the user is a first instruction motion for matching a hand motion of the character with the hand motion of the user or a second instruction motion for instructing a different action from the hand motion of the user. As a result of the determination, when the determination result indicates the first instruction motion, the control device matches the hand motion of the character with the detected hand motion of the user, and when the determination result indicates the second instruction motion, on the basis of the detected hand motion of the user, the control device causes the character to perform a different action from the hand motion.
