Abstract:
A control device according to the present invention controls a main switch provided on power wiring, and a charging switch connected in parallel to the main switch together with a limiting resistance. The control device increments a counter value when the charging switch enters a current-carrying state, and decrements the counter value when an elapsed time since the charging switch entered a shut-off state exceeds a cooling time period. When the counter value does not exceed a threshold value, the control device switches the charging switch between the shut-off state and the current-carrying state when a trigger signal is input, and puts the main switch into the shut-off state when the trigger signal is not input. When the counter value exceeds the threshold value, the control device maintains the main switch in the current-carrying state and the charging switch in the shut-off state irrespective of the trigger signal.
