Abstract:
Disclosed are a control method and control apparatus for a multi-split air conditioner, belonging to the technical field of air conditioners. The method comprises: controlling an air conditioner to operate a single indoor unit; acquiring a cooling capacity of the single indoor unit and an outdoor ambient temperature; determining, according to the cooling capacity and the outdoor ambient temperature, the maximum frequency of operation of a compressor; and controlling the compressor to operate at a frequency less than or equal to the maximum frequency. According to the control method and control apparatus for a multi-split air conditioner of the present invention, when a multi-split air conditioner only operates a single indoor unit, the maximum frequency of operation of a compressor is determined according to a cooling capacity of the operated single indoor unit and an outdoor ambient temperature, and controlling the compressor to operate at a frequency less than or equal to the maximum frequency can effectively avoid excessively high frequency of operation of the compressor, thereby maintaining the stability of system pressure.
