Abstract:
A control method for rack terminal protection of a steering gear. The method comprises: calculating theoretical values of limit rotation angles of left and right steering wheels; defining a rack terminal protection rotation angle range, and calculating rotation angle ranges of left-side and right-side rack terminal protection functions; acquiring actual rotation angles of left and right steering limit positions; when the difference between the actual rotation angle of the left steering limit position and the actual rotation angle of the right steering limit position is greater than a threshold value, correcting a rack terminal protection rotation angle, otherwise, performing execution according to a default-theory calculation result; and according to whether the steering torque direction is consistent with the direction of a rotation angle direction signal, determining whether to enable rack terminal protection. Therefore, when a rack of a steering gear reaches a terminal position, the current of a controller of a power-assisted steering apparatus is reduced, so as to prevent electronic components of the controller from being damaged by excessively high temperature; and by means of reducing the magnitude of a rack terminal power-assisted steering force, the problems of noise and poor tactility caused by a mechanical impact on a terminal of the steering gear are avoided. Further disclosed are an apparatus, a terminal and a storage medium.
