Abstract:
An adapter 10 connected to a HEMS network 5 conforming to ECHONET Lite (registered trademark) standards receives a remote control signal and obtains a remote control code, from a remote control device 3 for a non-compliant electrical appliance 2 not conforming to said standards, and sends the obtained remote control code to a HEMS terminal 7 via the HEMS network 5. The HEMS terminal 7 sends conversion information 752 indicating correspondence between property codes and remote control codes, to the adapter 10. The adapter 10 sends a remote control signal including the remote control code corresponding to a property code included in an electronic message for the non-compliant electrical appliance 2 and controls the non-compliant electrical appliance 2. The adapter 10 receives both remote control signal information from a remote control signal acquisition unit 81 and physical quantity measurement values from a physical quantity measurement value acquisition unit and, on the basis of the received remote control signal information and physical quantity measurement values, confirms that the non-compliant electrical appliance 2 has received the remote control signals.
