Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of preventing hunting during fuel cut recovery and shocks resulting from the intervention of braking slip during coasting deceleration in which both engine braking and regeneration are used. Provided are a control method and a control device for a hybrid vehicle in which a drive source comprises an engine (1) and a motor/generator (3). During accelerator release operation, coasting deceleration is performed using both an engine braking component and a coasting regeneration component. In this control method for an FF hybrid vehicle, a target deceleration driving force is reduced in accordance with an increase in the slip rate when braking slip intervenes during coasting deceleration, and the amount by which the target deceleration driving force is to be reduced is divided up using the coasting regeneration component. When reducing the coasting regeneration component, the width of reduction of the coasting regeneration component is limited using the point at which the engine braking component is reached as an upper limit.
