Abstract:
Disclosed by an embodiment of the present application are a control method and device for device volume, as well as a server, which are used to lower the volume of sound that is played back out loud by a first device which has an association relationship with a target user which is in a sleep state. The method in the embodiment of the present application comprises: the first device detects the use state thereof, said first device being a registered device in a preset group on the server; when the use state of the first device is playing back sound out loud, the first device acquires volume control information that is sent by the server, the volume control information being information that is sent when the server determines a preset association relationship between the first device and a second device, wherein the second device is a device which monitors a target user being in a sleep state, and the second device is another registered device in the preset group; and finally, the first device lowers the volume of the sound being played back out loud according to the volume control information.
