Abstract:
The present invention provides a control method in a user equipment (UE), and a UE. The control method in a UE comprises: send a radio resource control (RRC) connection reestablishment request message used for requesting RRC connection reestablishment to a base station; receive an RRC connection reestablishment response message sent by the base station as the response to the RRC connection reestablishment request message; if the RRC connection reestablishment response message indicates that the RRC connection reestablishment can be performed, an RRC layer of a UE executes an RRC connection reestablishing operation; if the RRC connection reestablishment response message is an RRC connection establishment message used for instructing the UE to establish a new RRC connection, the RRC layer of the UE executes an RRC connection establishing operation, and a NAS layer of the UE initiates a NAS connection recovery process.
