Abstract:
The objective of the present disclosure is to provide a liquid chromatograph mass spectrometry device control method with which it is possible to detect contamination of a mobile phase solvent by foreign matter without employing an internal standard substance. In a liquid chromatograph mass spectrometry device control method according to the present disclosure: a first ratio of a signal strength at a first time point to a signal strength at a second time point during measurement employing a first mobile phase solvent is calculated, and a second ratio of the signal strength at the first time point to the signal strength at the second time point during measurement employing a second mobile phase solvent is calculated; and a determination of whether the second mobile phase solvent is contaminated is made in accordance with an absolute difference between the first ratio and the second ratio (see Fig. 2).
