Abstract:
The present invention relating to mobile communication techniques provides a control method for receiving downlink data and a mobile communication terminal in a Time Division Duplex (TDD) system to reduce power consumption of the mobile communication terminal. In one embodiment of the present invention, when ACK or NACK retransmission technique is adopted in the TDD system, timing length of the Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) Round Trip Time (RTT) Timer is set to a length which is a multiple of an arbitrary single subframe duration and less than or equal to T1 and greater than or equal to T2. And then under the condition that the reception of the retransmitted data possibly arriving in the shortest time is ensured, the power consumption of the mobile communication terminal could be reduced as compared with the way of directly adopting the HARQ RTT Timer timing length set when ACK or NACK is not retransmitted.
