Abstract:
Provided is a control method for a power tool which provides torque to seat a nut, the method comprising the steps of: detecting measured torque applied to the nut using a torque sensor; comparing the measured torque to a reference torque indicating the nut is seated; if the measured torque exceeds the reference torque, analyzing the variance of the measured torque and concluding as one of operation failure or seating completion; if determined to be an operation failure in the determining step, initializing a pulse parameter of the power tool; and, if determined to be seating completion in the determining step, generating a pulse torque to apply force on the nut.
