A control method for a refrigerator, and a refrigerator. The refrigerator comprises a first refrigeration compartment (101) that is provided with an air inlet (310) and a return air vent (320) on the inner walls, a crisper (200) that is provided in the first refrigeration compartment (101) and forms a freshness preservation space (201), and a fan (400); the fan (400) is used for making cool air be blown into the first refrigeration compartment (101) by means of the air inlet (310); the return air vent (320) is used for leading out air from the first refrigeration compartment (101); the crisper (200) is close to the return air vent (320). The control method comprises: when the refrigerator refrigerates until the temperature of the first refrigeration compartment (101) reaches a set temperature, stopping refrigeration, turning off the fan (400), and keeping for a first preset period of time (S502); and turning on the fan (400) and keeping for a second preset period of time (S504) to use the return air of the first refrigeration compartment (101) flowing towards the return air vent (320) and having a high temperature to heat the crisper (200).
