Abstract:
The present application relates to a control method for a self-moving device, an apparatus, a storage medium, and a self-moving device, relating to the field of computer technology. The method comprises: when a self-moving device is moving, obtaining an environment image captured by an image capture assembly; obtaining an image recognition model, where computational resources used when the image recognition model is running are lower than the maximum computational resources provided by the self-moving device; and controlling the environment image to be input into the image recognition model and obtaining an object recognition result, the object recognition result being used to indicate a target object type. The present invention can solve the problem where a current image recognition algorithm has a high hardware requirement for a floor sweeping robot, which limits the application scope of an object recognition function of the floor sweeping robot; by means of utilizing an image recognition model that uses less computational resources to recognize a target object in an environment image, a hardware requirement for a self-moving device with respect to an object recognition method can be lowered, broadening the application scope of the object recognition method.
