Abstract:

A control method and a control system for the uplink and downlink power in the wireless communications are presented to decrease the indoor interference to the outdoor communications to minimum. The downlink interference control threshold of the indoor cell is calculated on the basis of the downlink signal samples of the adjacency cells, and the uplink interference control threshold of the indoor cell is calculated on the basis of the uplink signal samples of the indoor cell. During the power control process, the uplink and/or downlink transmitting powers of the terminal in the indoor cell are judged. According to the judgment result, if thedownlink transmitting power from the network to the terminal after the power control is larger than the downlink interference control threshold, the judgment result isn't be used to adjust the power and the downlink transmitting power is set at the downlink interference control threshold. If the uplink transmitting power of the terminal after the power control is larger than the uplink interference control threshold according to the judgment result, the uplink transmitting power of the terminal is set at the uplink interference control threshold.
