Abstract:
The present invention relates to a control method and terminal for short message reading. The method comprises: storing a corresponding relationship between a first application and a first sender of a short message; receiving a target short message generated by an application server corresponding to the first application, the target short message comprising information of the first sender; determining, according to the information of the first sender in the target short message and the corresponding relationship, to provide the target short message to the first application so as to the first application obtains the target short message. Thereby, the first application can only read short messages sent by a specific message sender, thus improving user experience and protecting user privacy.
