Abstract:
The present invention provides a control method for vehicle air conditioning and a vehicle air conditioning device which are capable of achieving both an air conditioning function and brake performance, in a state in which the vehicle is traveling at low speed such as during congestion. In the present invention, the negative pressure in a master back is estimated on the basis of the atmospheric pressure and the pressure in an air intake passage of an internal combustion engine. When a prescribed condition is fulfilled which includes a state in which the negative pressure in the master back falls short of a prescribed pressure while an air conditioning compressor is operating, the air conditioning compressor is stopped for a first period, and, after the first period has elapsed, the air conditioning compressor is operated for a second period regardless of the prescribed condition, and, after the second period has elapsed, operation of the air conditioning compressor is controlled in accordance with the fulfillment state of the prescribed condition.
