Abstract:
Security risks in a robot may cause physical damage, so when an attack is detected, it is necessary to immediately transition to a safe state. However, depending on the control state of the robot, the damage may worsen if the robot is simply stopped. This robot system comprises an external network communication unit and a control network. The control network includes an actuator unit, a sensor unit, a control mode retention unit, a control unit, and an abnormality detection unit. On the basis of a communication message on the control network and a control mode, the abnormality detection unit detects a user abnormality caused by user control, a robot abnormality caused by the control network, and an operation environment abnormality caused by an operation environment of the robot system. On the basis of a detection result of the abnormality detection unit, a control mode switching device calculates a credibility score, and when the credibility score becomes equal to or less than a predetermined value, changes the control mode of the control mode retention unit depending on the control mode and the type of credibility score that has become equal to or less than the predetermined value.
