Abstract:
In one embodiment of the control program disclosed in the present application, a computer is made to execute a process whereby an access request with respect to a recording device that stores data is received (S101). The control program causes the computer to execute a process whereby a determination is made regarding whether index information corresponding to the access request received by means of the reception process exists in a memory that stores index information, which is a condensation of identification information identifying data that has been cached in a nonvolatile memory from the recording device (S103). When the determination process determines that the index information exits, the control program causes the computer to execute a process whereby the nonvolatile memory is accessed, and when it is determined that the index information does not exist, the control program causes the computer to execute a process whereby the recording device is accessed (S104, S107).
