Abstract:
The invention relates to a control selector (12) comprising a rotary thumb scroll (14) mounted in a holder (28) and capable of free rotation about a main axis (A1), a fixed electronic board (34), a detection wheel (48) rotating about a secondary axis (A2), a transmission means (30, 40, 46) rotationally connecting the thumb scroll (14) and the detection wheel (48) the rotations of which are detected by a rotation sensor (52) provided on the electronic board (34). The main axis (A1) and the secondary axis (A2) are not parallel, the transmission means (30, 44, 46) comprises at least one angular gear (58) and the detection wheel (48) rotates in a plane parallel to the electronic board (34), the secondary axis (A2) being perpendicular to the electronic board (34) in order to minimize the circumscribed volume of the selector (12).
