Abstract:
Disclosed are a control system of a bicycle (1) capable of phugoid motion and a method for moving same. The system is used for driving and releasing a hub assembly (3) for phugoid motion control connected to a phugoid-adjusting handle (14). The hub assembly (3) is disposed on a wheel and comprises a rail sliding groove (34) disposed in a hub (31) and a phugoid motion mechanism (7) thereof. The rail sliding groove (34) is disposed between the hub (31) and a fixed housing (61) of a phugoid-activating device, and is comprised of a hub slide groove section (32) and a fixing housing slide groove section (62) arranged corresponding to each other; the phugoid motion mechanism (7) comprises a phugoid-fixing assembly (6), an eccentric-axis linkage assembly (4) and a phugoid-activating assembly (5), with the eccentric-axis linkage assembly (4) provided in the fixed housing (61) and the phugoid-activating assembly (5) forming the phugoid-activating device provided in the hub (31), so as to form the control system of the bicycle (1) capable of phugoid motion. When the bicycle (1) is in motion, the phugoid-adjusting handle (14) drives a traction steel-wire rope (44) to the hub assembly (3) and adjusts the motion along an edge of the hub (31) from a stationary position of an eccentric-axis linkage (41), thereby controlling the phugoid motion of front and rear wheels. The bicycle (1) functions as a common transportation tool when there is no need of the motion, can realize the simulation of the phugoid motion during horse riding when phugoid motion is needed, and facilitates industrial production.
