Abstract:
The invention relates to a control system for a hybrid excavator including an engine, a hydraulic pump driven by the engine for driving a hydraulic actuator by means of discharged oil, a generator driven by the engine to generate electricity, and an energy storage device for storing the electricity generated by the generator and supplying electric energy to an electric actuator, wherein the control system for a hybrid excavator comprises: required-torque detection means for detecting the amount of torque required to drive the hydraulic pump; an amount of charge detection means for detecting the charge rate (or amount of charge) of the electric energy storage device; a memory for storing the generated degree (or generated amount) of electricity according to the torque and the charge rate (or amount of charge); and hybrid control means for controlling the generator according to the amount of charge in the memory means which corresponds to a torque value detected by the required torque detection means and a charge rate value (or amount of charge) detected by the amount of charge detection means. The electricity generator attached to the engine is operated on the basis of a preset generated amount value corresponding to the required torque for the hydraulic pump and the state of charge (SOC), in order to maximize fuel efficiency.
