Abstract:

The present invention enables processing to be executed upon selecting an information processing device located closest to a portable terminal without exclusive use of one printer by one portable terminal. This control system is equipped with: a distance detection unit (12) for detecting a printer (200) that is located at the shortest distance from a portable point-of-sale (POS) terminal (100) on the basis of the intensity of radio waves that are emitted from multiple printers (200) using the Bluetooth low energy (BLE) protocol and received by the portable POS terminal (100); and a processing execution control unit (14) for instructing, by using a wireless local area network (LAN), the detected printer (200) to execute printing processing. The control system is constructed such that while printing data are being transmitted through the wireless LAN to a specific printer (200-1) from a certain portable POS terminal (100-1), the other portable POS terminals (100-2…) receive the radio waves using the BLE protocol, thereby enabling the closest printer (200) to be detected from among the multiple printers (200), including the specific printer (200-1).
