Abstract:
This control system comprises a PLC (20) and a host computer (10). The PLC (20) includes a memory (213), relay elements (225,226) having a contact point between an internal circuit and an external apparatus, CPUs (212,221) which count the number of times the contacts of the relay elements (225,226) are opened and closed, and store open/close count information indicating the number of times the memory (213) is opened and closed, and a communication IF (211) which transmits the open/close count information stored in the memory (213) to the host computer (10). The host computer (10) includes a hard disk drive (16) which stores a PLC number that identifies the PLC (20), a communication IF (13) which receives the open/close count information, and a CPU (11) which stores the open/close count information received by the communication IF (13) in the hard disk drive (16) in association with the PLC number.
