Abstract:
A control system for lamp source comprises a lamp (510), a ballast (500) connected with the lamp (510) and a lamp controller (601). The ballast (500) comprises a rectification boost power factor correction (PFC) controller and a buck DC voltage converter (502). A pulse width modulation (PWM) controller (100) is connected in series between the gate/base input terminal of a transistor of the buck DC voltage converter (502) and the lamp output terminal. The PWM controller (100) is allocated an adjustable and variable oscillator (200) and an oscillation adjusting and control processor (300). The lamp controller (601) adjusts and controls the brightness of the lamp (510) according to the output frequency of the oscillation adjusting and control processor (300).
