Abstract:
Provided is an acceleration/deceleration control system in which a front acquisition unit (17) is configured so as to acquire the road shape in front of a vehicle. A position acquisition unit (18) is configured so as to acquire the current position of the vehicle. A state acquisition unit (19) is configured so as to acquire the current speed of the vehicle. A command calculation unit (20) is configured so as to calculate a target speed at each of geographical points on the road in front of the vehicle on the basis of the road shape and the current position and use the target speeds and the current speed to calculate a drive command value to be generated by the vehicle in the front-rear direction. The road shape includes the road gradient. The command calculation unit is configured so as to adjust the drive command value using the amount of change in the road gradient and a value Gzmax that is an acceleration limit value for limiting vertical acceleration of the vehicle.
