Abstract:
The invention relates to a control system for a motor vehicle, comprising a manual actuating means with a number of adjusting degrees of freedom for selecting and/or activating entries in a menu structure having a number of menu levels and a screen display (2) with a number of display areas (210 to 250) for displaying the menu structure, whereby each display area (210 to 250) comprises at least one field for displaying one of the entries. The invention provides that in at least one level of the menu structure, at least one display area (230) that is active for selecting an entry can be displayed on the screen display (2), whereby at least one partial area of the other display areas (210, 220, 240, 250) has a different graphic display than the at least one active display area (230).
