Abstract:
A controller of the present invention acquires current topography data which indicates the current topography of a work site. The controller determines a target depth. The controller acquires, on the basis of the current topography data, the positions of a plurality of division points positioned on the current topography. By displacing each of the plurality of division points in the vertical direction by the target depth, the controller determines a plurality of reference points. The controller determines a target design topography on the basis of the plurality of reference points. The controller generates command signals for operating a work machine in accordance with the target design topography.
