Abstract:
The invention relates to a control system for a motorized flap arrangement (2) on a motor vehicle (3), comprising a controller (6) and at least one sensor system (7) that is coupled to the controller (6) and includes at least one elongate sensor arrangement (8, 9) which includes at least one elongate distance sensor (10, 11, 12, 13) measuring distances transversely to the local sensor axis; the sensor system (7) allows movements by a body part (14) of an operator in a longitudinal direction (15) along a reference axis (16) as well as in a transverse direction (17) transversely to the reference axis (16) to be sensed, and the controller (6) qualifies, by means of the sensor system (7), a movement by the operator as an operating event and then triggers the flap arrangement (2) if the detected movement by the operator is a predetermined operator gesture that has a transverse movement component. According to the invention, an additional prerequisite for a sensed movement by the operator to qualify as an operator gesture consists in the spatial extent of the longitudinal movement component of the sensed movement by the operator lying below a predetermined maximum longitudinal extent (18).
