Abstract:
Provided is a control unit having a press-fit terminal, wherein: a wiring board has a connected part to which the press-fit terminal is connected, and a guide part extending, around the connected part, from the wiring board; the press-fit terminal has a tip part, a contact part adjacent to the tip part, and an expanding part; and the guide part has an opening section, a guide hole extending from the opening section to the wiring board, a tapered surface formed inside the opening section, and a reduced diameter section formed continuously on the tapered surface. In the tip part of the press-fit terminal, the expanding part is guided by the tapered surface and the inner wall of the reduced diameter section, and the contact part is thereby positioned at the connected part.
