Abstract:
Disclosed is a control unit for a vehicle, wherein steering reaction force to be transmitted from the steering wheel upon having various automatic steering functions exercised upon the vehicle is alleviated, without interfering with steering force to be inputted by the driver. The control unit (100) for a vehicle (10) that is provided with braking/driving force varying means (300, 600), which can individually vary each of the braking/driving forces to be acted upon each of the wheels (FL, FR, RL, RR), is provided with: a target quantity-of-state setting means for setting a target quantity-of-state (γtg) that corresponds with a target running state of the vehicle; and a target braking/driving force setting means for setting a target braking/driving force, which will be the target value for the braking/driving forces, such that the quantity-of-state and the steering reaction force will become the target quantity-of-state that was set and a prescribed target steering reaction force (Ttg), respectively, on the basis of a preset quantity-of-state (γ) that corresponds to the target quantity-of-state, and steering reaction forces (T) to be transmitted from the wheels to a steering apparatus, and on the basis of the relative relationship between the difference between the braking/driving forces of the left and right front wheels (Ff) and the difference between the braking/driving forces of the left and right rear wheels (Fr).
