Abstract:
The present invention relates to a control valve and a variable-capacity compressor, which can improve the efficiency of the compressor by preventing unnecessary loss of control gas. According to the present invention, a fixed orifice hole formed in a conventional valve assembly is removed, and the orifice hole is formed at the control valve or a flow path for connecting the control valve and a crank chamber, so as to reduce loss of the control gas, wherein if the fixed orifice hole is formed at the control valve, the size of the fixed orifice hole can vary (by selectively opening and closing a plurality of holes) according to the operation of the compressor, and if the fixed orifice hole is formed at the flow path for connecting the control valve and the crank chamber, the fixed orifice hole can be machined to a size smaller than that of a conventional orifice hole having a limited minimum size due to difficulties in machining, such that loss of the control gas is reduced.
