Abstract:
Provided is a control valve for a variable displacement compressor, wherein the control valve can effectively suppress the increase in sliding resistance and the accompanying deterioration of control characteristics, while preventing the entry of foreign matters into a sliding surface gap (clearance) that is formed between a main valve body and a guide hole. Provided also is a control valve for a variable displacement compressor, wherein the control valve can ensure a stable sealing property regardless of a dimensional error of component parts. In the control valve, a plate-shaped ring member 20E is interposed between a guide hole 19 and a main valve body 10. In the plate-shaped ring member 20E, a tubular portion 20Eb is formed in a tubular shape in a state where the inner end of the plate-shaped ring member 20E is curved, and the tubular portion 20Eb is brought into sliding contact with the outer wall of the main valve body 10 to seal a space between a valve chamber 21 and a pressure-sensing chamber 45.
