Abstract:
The present invention secures good sealability between a seal cylindrical member and a valve body, while minimizing pressing of the valve body with excessive force by the seal cylindrical member. A control valve (8) is provided with a valve housing (21), a joint member (43), a valve body (22), and a seal cylindrical member (111). A seal ring (112) is provided between the joint member (43) and the seal cylindrical member (111), said seal ring (112) receiving the pressure of a liquid inside the valve housing (21) and in close contact with the joint member (43) and the seal cylindrical member (111). The seal cylindrical member (111) includes a biasing and pressure-receiving surface (joint-side end surface, 66) that receives the pressure of the liquid inside the valve housing (21) in a direction heading toward the valve body. The seal ring (112) is disposed at a position where the seal cylindrical member (111) will not be pressed in the direction of the valve body by the seal ring (112). The surface area (S2) of a valve-sliding-contact surface (29) is set larger than the surface area (S1) of a biasing and pressure-receiving surface.
