Abstract:
A control unit 12 of a camera 1 determines, on the basis of whether or not a predetermined signal has been received from a smartphone 2 communicably connected thereto via a first communication unit 19, whether or not an instruction for canceling remote control by the smartphone 2 has been detected, and performs control to cut off communication with the smartphone 2 by the first communication unit 19, and to start communication with a remote controller 3 by a second communication unit 20, in response to determination that the instruction for canceling remote control by the smartphone 2 has been detected.
