Title:
CONTROLLED MAGNETIC BEARING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2000/045059
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A controlled magnetic bearing device capable of floating and supporting a rotary body stably by generating a control signal on the basis of a sensor signal coming from a displacement sensor for detecting radial displacement of the rotary body to suppress the whirling of the rotary body caused by an external force synchronized with the rotation. The controlled magnetic bearing device comprises a displacement sensor for detecting radial displacement of a rotary body, a first control unit for operating and outputting a first control signal on the basis of a sensor signal from the displacement sensor, a second control unit disposed parallel to the first control unit so as to receive the sensor signal and to generate and output a second control signal having a phase changed from that of the sensor signal, a signal synthesizer for generating a control signal by adding the second control signal to the first control signal and for outputting the generated control signal to a power amplifier, the power amplifier for driving an electric current on the basis of the control signal, and an electromagnet for generating a magnetic force by making use of a signal coming from the power amplifier.
