Title:
CONTROLLED PRODUCTION OF CARBON-BASED PRODUCTS OF INTEREST
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/181205
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The present disclosure identifies methods and compositions for modifying photoautotrophic organisms as hosts, such that the organisms efficiently produce carbon- based products of interest, and in particular the use of such organisms for the commercial production of ethanol and related carbon-based molecules in the presence of contaminating microorganisms which can utilize the same. Other materials, methods, and compositions are also described.
