Abstract:
This controller comprises: a target rotation speed setting unit (29) for setting the target rotation speed of an engine (2) as the idle rotation speed lower than the input rotation speed that is input by an engine control dial (13) when an operation signal is not output from an operation lever (9) for a predetermined time; and a rotation speed control unit (23) for controlling the rotation speed of the engine on the basis of the target rotation speed set by the target rotation speed setting unit. The target rotation speed setting unit (29) includes an idle rotation speed setting unit (42) for correcting the idle rotation speed according to detection values of sensors (27, 28, 30) in order to suppress the reduction in output of the engine caused by the change in state quantity related to the environment where the engine is disposed. It is thus possible to maintain the good operation feeling at the time of returning from the auto-idle state even when the engine output is reduced due to the change in environment.
