Abstract:
A HEMS controller (100) which receives a control instruction for an electrical apparatus (200) from a portable terminal (400) via a server (300) and sends the control instruction to the electrical apparatus (200). When there is no instruction from the portable terminal (400), the HEMS controller (100) determines whether communication with the server (300) is being continued. If it is determined that the communication is not being continued, the HEMS controller (100) sends a control signal to the electrical apparatus (200), said control signal being for the purpose of switching off the power source of the electrical apparatus (200).
